I'm a second-year law student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I've been a fan of the contest since the Kiev show in 2004. When on vacation with my family in the UK, I happened to switch on the TV to BBC One while the final was on. From then on, I was hooked. Five years later, I attended my first show at the Olimpiskiy Arena in Moscow, Russia. I've written academic papers on Eurovision, including "Googling Eurovision: Modeling Voting in the Eurovision Song Contest Using Google PageRank."
